Major Tim Peake - The Barbican

ESA Astronaut Major Tim Peake is an inspiration in his field and beyond: a former International Space Station crew member he is the author of several highly successful books. Upstart Events designed the event at Penguin Live to immerse the audience in a space journey using Tim’s stunning photography, video and even the surround sound of an actual rocket launch!

Aimed at encouraging a young audience to follow their dreams, the event won “Best Event Experience” at EventLab 2018 and featured an emotional moment which went viral via Buzzfeed, with a question from 9 year old audience member Isaac, which ended with “You’re my hero, Tim Peake”.
